Nancy D. Grigassy teaches at Stephen
F. Austin
High School in Sugar Land, Texas.
She has been teaching for over 30 years and is a member of NCTM and TCTM. She
was Austin High School’s first Teacher of
the Year in 1995. She is an
experienced AP Consultant in both Calculus and PreAP
Mathematics. She has made
presentations at the National Conference for Mathematics Teachers, T^3, and the
Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics as well as Advanced Placement
Conferences.
Nancy is the Chairman of the mathematics department at Austin High School. She teaches PreCalculus PREAP and Calculus AB.
In addition to teaching
classes of her own during the school year, she is also the a Consultant for
The College Board, and spends several weeks each summer conducting week-long
Institutes at various Universities where she shares her expertise, primarily
with Calculus and Pre-Cal, with math teachers from around the country.
Nancy especially enjoys working with
students who are struggling with Math. She wants all students to
succeed!
